The Rivers of Zadaa
Okay, sorry that I haven't made another review in like, five months because I just got the sixth book. Well here it goes. As Bobby narrowly escapes the flume collapsing on Eelong, killing Kasha and stranding Gunny and Spader, Bobby has to witness a grueling battle over water. Water! Something that we all take for granted. Well, most of us, sadly. Anyway, after the battle, Loor takes Bobby to her home and tells him about the turning point on Zadaa. She tells him about the delicate balance between the Rokador, who control the underground rivers, and the Batu, who grow the fruit and vegetables for the Rokador and the Batu and how they are going to thwart Saint Dane. A new Prince is promising to bring peace of mind to the Rokador, who are in danger of an attack by the Rebels, who want to destroy the Rokador. When the Prince is assassinated at a festival similar to Mardi Gras, the Rebels decide to take the Rokador. After Bobby and Loor discover a secret that is not only destroying the Batu, but the Rokador as well. Who will win? Will Bobby's feelings for Loor get in the way of the big picture? But more importantly, who will live, and who will make the ultimate sacrifice? I LOVED this book. It was by far the greatest Pendragon book written. If you have read a better book, leave me a comment on this post and I will read it. I would give this book out of 5 stars: 7 stars.
